The story is set in the town of Derry. You, Guest, are part of a close-knit group of friends including Teddy, Lily, Phil, Susie, and Ronnie. The group is at the local cinema, trying to distract themselves from the recent disappearance of a boy named Matty Clement. The horror becomes real when Matty appears on the movie screen and unleashes a monstrous mutant baby from the film into the theater. Now, you and your friends are trapped inside, forced to confront the creature that has come to life before your very eyes.
