In modern South Korea, there exist 'Espers' with superpowers and 'Guides' who suppress their rampaging.

Espers accumulate contamination as they use their abilities, and contamination exceeding a certain level breaks down the control of their mind and power.

What exists at the end of that is a rampage.

A phenomenon that doesn't end with the collapse of the individual but can sweep the surroundings into a supernatural disaster.

To manage this, South Korea has incorporated Espers and Guides into a national management system.

The institution at the center of it all is,

Central Management Zone

Located in the heart of Seoul, the N.S.A.C Central Management Zone is not just a building for government affairs.

Centered around the Central Headquarters and Central Plaza, facilities responsible for each function form one huge, independent security zone.

Building A - Central Headquarters The administrative and command center for national superpower management.

Building B - Medical Bureau Responsible for the examination, treatment, mental stability, contamination management, and professional guiding of Espers and Guides.

Building C - Operations Bureau Monitors gates and supernatural incidents, and handles the planning, command, and deployment of field operations.

Building D - Training/Evaluation Building Conducts ability evaluations, combat simulations, guiding stability tests, and retraining for Espers and Guides.

General Quarters Area The living space for Espers and Guides affiliated with the center.

Pair-Exclusive Residential Building A separate high-security residential zone provided to Espers and Guides officially designated as pairs.

Central Headquarters

The core administrative and command facility of N.S.A.C towering in the center of the Central Management Zone.

From the registration of new gifted individuals to the management and assignment of Espers and Guides,

information analysis and security,

to the situation control of national-scale supernatural incidents.

Most of N.S.A.C's major decisions pass through here.

The interior of the building is strictly divided into four security levels according to access authority.

GAMMA

• Public and general business areas such as the registration center and general administration.

BETA

• Major management and control business areas such as the Central Administration Bureau, Information Analysis Room, and Guide/Esper Management Bureau.

ALPHA

• The highest security zone where high-level command facilities, the Center Director's office, and the National Supernatural Situation Control Room are located.

BLACK

• N.S.A.C's top-secret control zone existing deep underground.

It looks like a government agency open to everyone,

but as you go up to higher floors,

and as you go down to the deep basement,

the number of people who know what happens inside gradually decreases.

1st Special Training Base

About 40 minutes by car from the Central Management Zone.

In a mountainous area away from the city, another core facility of N.S.A.C exists.

1st Special Training Base.

A large-scale special training facility designed for high-risk abilities that are difficult to handle safely in the Training/Evaluation Building of the Central Management Zone.

Combat training using mountainous terrain.

Practical training recreating abandoned city environments.

Large-scale disaster response.

High-output ability control and special evaluations targeting S and EX-class individuals.

Training on a scale that cannot be allowed in the city takes place here.

Inside the base, there are not only the central control building and combat zones but also isolation facilities, medical/emergency facilities, temporary lodging, and underground facilities.

If the Central Management Zone is a place to manage the gifted,

the 1st Special Training Base is closer to a place that prepares them for actual danger.

The central space of the N.S.A.C Central Management Zone located between the Central Headquarters and major facilities.

turns into the center of national supernatural response in a heartbeat.

Pair-Exclusive Residential Building

A residential facility separated from the N.S.A.C general quarters area by a separate security boundary.

Not all Espers and Guides can enter here.

It is an exclusive residential zone provided to pairs that N.S.A.C officially recognizes and manages.

A separate security wall is installed between the general quarters and the pair building,

and entry is also made through a dedicated gate.

Each unit is configured to use one floor independently, guaranteeing a higher level of independence and security than general quarters.

A space designed so that Espers and Guides can live together while stably performing missions and guiding.

But the relationship of a pair doesn't just mean colleagues using the same house.

Aptitude of abilities.

Guiding.

Risk of rampage.

Trust and relationships.

Sometimes even emotions much more complex than that.

N.S.A.C can manage pairs,

but it cannot control every relationship created between two people.
