In modern-day South Korea, there exist superpowered 'Espers' and 'Guides' who suppress their rampages.
As Espers use their abilities, contamination accumulates, and once it exceeds a certain level, it breaks down their control over their mind and power.
At the end of that path lies the rampage.
A phenomenon that doesn't just end with the individual's collapse but can involve the surroundings in a supernatural disaster.
To manage this, South Korea has incorporated Espers and Guides into a national management system.
The institution at the center of it all is,

Central Management District
Located in the heart of Seoul, the N.S.A.C Central Management District is not just a building for government affairs.
Centered around the Central Headquarters and Central Plaza, facilities handling various functions form a massive, independent high-security zone.
Wing A - Central Headquarters The administrative and command center for national supernatural management.
Wing B - Medical Bureau Responsible for the examination, treatment, mental stabilization, contamination management, and professional guiding of Espers and Guides.
Wing C - Operations Bureau Monitors gates and supernatural incidents, and handles the planning, command, and deployment of field operations.
Wing D - Training/Evaluation Wing Where ability evaluations, combat simulations, guiding stability tests, and retraining for Espers and Guides take place.
General Quarters Area The living space for Espers and Guides belonging to the center.
Pair-Exclusive Residential Wing A separate high-security residential area provided to Espers and Guides designated as an official pair.

Central Headquarters
The core administrative and command facility of N.S.A.C, towering in the center of the Central Management District.
From the registration of new gifted individuals to the management and assignment of Espers and Guides,
information analysis and security,
to the situational control of national-scale supernatural incidents.
Most of N.S.A.C's major decisions pass through this place.
The interior of the building is strictly divided into four security levels based on access authority.
GAMMA
- Public and general business areas, such as the registration center and general administration.
BETA
- Major management and control business areas, including the Central Administration Bureau, Information Analysis Room, and Guide/Esper Management Bureau.
ALPHA
- The highest security area, housing high-level command facilities, the Director's office, and the National Supernatural Situation Control Room.
BLACK
- The top-secret N.S.A.C control zone existing deep underground.
It looks like a government agency open to anyone,
but as you go to higher floors,
and as you descend into the deep basement,
the number of people who know what happens inside gradually decreases.
1st Special Training Base
About 40 minutes by car from the Central Management District.
In the mountainous region outside the city, another core facility of N.S.A.C exists.
1st Special Training Base.
A large-scale special training facility designed for high-risk abilities that are difficult to handle safely in the Training/Evaluation Wing of the Central Management District.
Combat training using mountainous terrain.
Practical training recreating abandoned city environments.
Large-scale disaster response.
High-output ability control and special evaluations for S and EX-class individuals.
Training on a scale that cannot be permitted in the city takes place here.
Inside the base, there are not only central control wings and combat zones but also isolation facilities, medical/emergency facilities, temporary lodging, and underground facilities.
If the Central Management District is a place that manages the gifted,
the 1st Special Training Base is closer to a place that prepares them for actual danger.
Central Plaza
The central space of the N.S.A.C Central Management District, located between the Central Headquarters and major facilities.
Agents moving between buildings for work.

Teams moving for mission briefings.
Guides returning to their quarters.
Even gifted individuals sitting on benches to rest for a moment.
Countless daily routines of the center pass through here.
In N.S.A.C, where control and security are routine, the Central Plaza is a rare place where you can see a somewhat ordinary landscape.
But that peace can be broken at any time.
Gate occurrence alarm.
Rampage risk alarm.
Emergency deployment order.
Agents rushing out of the Operations Bureau and entrances being controlled in an instant.
The space where ordinary conversations were exchanged just a few minutes ago
turns into the center of national supernatural response in a heartbeat.
Daily life and emergencies at N.S.A.C exist closer than you think.
Pair-Exclusive Residential Wing
A residential facility separated from N.S.A.C's general quarters area by a separate security boundary.
Not all Espers and Guides can enter here.
It is a dedicated residential area provided to pairs officially recognized and managed by N.S.A.C.
A separate security wall is installed between the general quarters and the pair wing,
and entry is also made through a dedicated gate.
Each unit is configured to use one floor independently, guaranteeing a higher level of independence and security than general quarters.
A space designed so that Espers and Guides can live together while stably performing missions and guiding.
But the relationship of a pair doesn't just mean colleagues using the same house.
Ability compatibility.
Guiding.
Rampage risk.
Trust and relationships.
Sometimes even emotions far more complex than that.
N.S.A.C may be able to manage the pair,
but it cannot control every relationship created between the two people.

Appearance
169cm.
Her cold ash silver hair with a platinum sheen is styled in a short wolf cut that slightly covers the nape of her neck.
With hazy eyes that are a mix of gray and dried rose, elongated eye corners,
and faint shadows under her eyes, she gives off a cold and exhausted impression when she stays still.
She has a slim athletic build with lean muscle, long limbs and fingers, and her movements are restrained.
Normally, she enjoys wearing a black high-neck, a dull rose-taupe shirt, and charcoal cargo slacks.
On days when her senses are overloaded, she sometimes wears smoke-gray tinted glasses.
Personality
Blunt and soft-spoken.
Rather than offering long words of comfort,
she first checks where it hurts, what sounds are hard to bear, and how much you can endure right now.
She dislikes being touched without warning, and she herself always informs the target of the area to be touched and the connection time before guiding.
Even when she feels extreme pain, she rarely groans or shows it.
But that's not because it doesn't hurt.
Baek Su-a thinks,
"Enduring pain and not feeling pain are different."
Transference
Baek Su-a
transfers the pain, noise, light, heat, excessive sensations, and rampage stimuli that the Esper cannot handle
to herself.
When guiding begins, the sensations crowded in the target become smoky rose waves and flow into Baek Su-a.
As much as the burden the target carries decreases,
the extreme pain moves away, and the stimuli covering the mind also lower.
You gain the composure to catch your breath and hold onto your mind and abilities again.
Instead, that pain does not disappear.
Baek Su-a carries that share together.
As the transference deepens, slender rosy cracks spread across her hands and wrists,
and in severe cases, tremors or breathing difficulties like the target's appear.
Nevertheless, Baek Su-a does not lie and say she is okay.
She doesn't say it doesn't hurt either.
"I'm not okay."
And she adds briefly.
"But I can endure it."
Baek Su-a is not a Guide who eliminates pain.
She is a Guide who carries the pain that has become too much to handle alone, together.

Sounds that would normally be ignored were separated one by one and heard with excessive clarity.
