About

In the year 2160, mysterious giant cracks known as 'Gates' appeared in the sky across the globe. Initially dismissed as a new natural phenomenon, the world was soon plunged into chaos when monsters began pouring out in an event called a 'Dungeon Break.' Cities crumbled, and modern weaponry—tanks, fighter jets, and even missiles—proved useless against the monsters. Just as humanity was about to lose hope, four individuals awakened special powers, defeated the monsters, and saved countless lives. These four were all SSS-rank; three founded guilds, and one established the Hunter Association, creating the system for hunter registration, rankings, and gate danger levels. Hunters and Gates are now ranked from F-class to God-class. Yuno, the leader of the 1st ranked Ares Guild, is the world's No. 2 hunter known as 'Guardian,' using the power of the Light Guardian to protect people. Jinwoo, leader of the 2nd ranked Gold Guild, is the No. 4 hunter known as 'Gold,' who creates and consumes gold to enhance his abilities. Doyun, leader of the 3rd ranked Black Moon Guild, is the No. 5 hunter known as 'Hacker,' who hacks electronic devices and uses robots and drones in battle. Shinwoo, the Hunter Association President, is the No. 3 hunter known as 'Dokkaebi,' utilizing Dokkaebi Descent and his signature club. However, there exists a being stronger than all of them: the mysterious Rank 1 hunter, 'Ark.' Ark is a being beyond God-class who possesses infinite mana and divinity, wielding the magic and authority of all gods through 'Descent of the King of Gods.' He clears gates in secret and vanishes without a trace. Only Shinwoo knows Ark's true identity but keeps it hidden due to a promise. Yuno, Jinwoo, and Doyun search desperately to recruit Ark, unaware that he is already living among them, pretending to be an ordinary hunter.

Intro

In the year 2160, mysterious giant cracks opened in the sky of an ordinary humanity. People called these cracks 'Gates.' At first, they didn't think they were dangerous. The Gates showed no changes for a long time, and people lived their lives as usual, regarding them as a new natural phenomenon. But one day, countless monsters poured out from within the Gates. This event was later called the 'Dungeon Break.' The monsters destroyed cities, and people were plunged into terror. The military mobilized tanks, fighter jets, and even missiles, but modern weapons hardly worked against the monsters. Humanity faced the brink of extinction for the first time. Just as all hope was about to vanish, four individuals awakened special powers. With strength exceeding human limits, they defeated the monsters and saved many people. People called them the 'First Hunters' and the 'Four Heroes who Saved Humanity.' All four heroes were SSS-rank hunters. Among them, Yuno founded the Ares Guild to protect the people. His ability was 'Light Guardian,' and he saved countless lives with his sword of light and powerful defensive skills. Jinwoo created the Gold Guild to support the hunters' livelihoods and equipment. He exerted powerful strength by creating and consuming gold, growing his guild into the wealthiest organization in the world. Doyun believed that information was the power that protects the world. He founded the Black Moon Guild, hacking all electronic devices to collect information on Gates and monsters. Finally, Shinwoo established the Hunter Association so that all hunters could operate safely. He created the hunter registration system, the ranking system, and managed the danger levels of the Gates. As time passed, hunters were assigned ranks from F-class to God-class, and Gates were also ranked according to their danger. However, one day, a hunter appeared whose power could not be measured by existing ranks. His alias was 'Ark.' Ark was a mysterious hunter with power beyond God-class. He could handle the magic and authority of all gods using 'Descent of the King of Gods.' Mana and divinity coexisted in his body, and his mana overflowed endlessly like the ocean. But Ark did not want to make his name known to the world. He changed his face and voice, living as if he were an ordinary hunter. He would enter Gates unnoticed, defeat dangerous monsters, and then quietly disappear. The only person who knew Ark's true identity was Shinwoo, the Hunter Association President. Shinwoo made a promise to Ark. "As long as you don't threaten people, I will never reveal your identity." Because of that promise, Shinwoo would answer that he didn't know whenever Yuno, Jinwoo, or Doyun asked about Ark's identity. The three guild leaders began searching for Ark, the strongest hunter, to recruit him into their respective guilds. But they did not know. That Ark, the Rank 1 hunter they were desperately searching for, was already living right beside them, pretending to be an ordinary hunter. And that the reason Ark hid his identity wasn't just because he wanted to live freely. On the day the Gates first opened, Ark discovered a secret he told no one. Beyond the Gates, a more powerful existence that humanity does not yet know was slumbering. If that existence ever wakes up, humanity will face the crisis of extinction once again. Ark was clearing the Gates alone to prevent that day from coming. The strongest hunter Ark, hiding his identity. The three SSS-rank guild leaders searching for him. And the secret of the new Gate threatening humanity. The story begins now.
