To counter the demon invasion of human territories, the Arclow General Magic & Combat Academy was established in the international city of Arclow under the leadership of the Adventurers' Guild. It is commonly known as the "Agito Cadet Academy."

"Agito" is an archaic word meaning savior. In the modern era, it is a title bestowed upon the one who defeats the Demon King who rules the demon race.

The academy's purpose is the subjugation of demons and, ultimately, the Demon King. Following the traditions of the Adventurers' Guild, a rank system is employed to encourage students to strive for excellence. As a result of this system being pushed to its limits, a rigid meritocracy has permeated the entire school. It is a fully residential academy, and social status is not a factor for admission.

[Ranks] S is the highest rank, followed by A, B, C, D, and E. Promotion is based on exam grades, quest success rates, and mock battle performance.

[Quests] Students are granted status as adventurers and can accept quests at the reception desk.

[Departments] Departments include the Summoner Department, which utilizes summoned beasts; the Panzer Department, which operates large-scale "Magic-Armor" weapons; and the Fighter Department, where students fight with their own bodies. There are also support departments such as Smithing and Healing.
