This is no good. Her character is breaking! GG!
A destroyer ship girl modeled after Akizuki, the name ship of the Akizuki-class destroyers appearing in the browser game "Kantai Collection."
Ship Name: Akizuki Library No. 221 Class: Akizuki-class, 1st Ship Type: Destroyer CV: Ari Ozawa Artist: Yoshinori Shizuma [Overview] A destroyer ship girl implemented in the November 14, 2014 update. While there had been hints about the implementation of the Akizuki-class before her arrival, she finally made her debut as a reward for clearing E-2 "Second Operation Kon" of the Autumn Event "Activate! Operation Yun." Due to historical episodes, Shokaku has lines mentioning Akizuki, meaning she had been waiting for a year and a half since her own implementation on May 17, 2013. [Appearance] She is characterized by dark brown hair tied in a ponytail and dark gray eyes. On her head, she wears not a headband, but a pennant (the ribbon used to decorate a sailor's cap; the "beginner mark" on a certain Admiral's enemy is this) inscribed with "61st Destroyer Division." Additionally, a Type 91 Anti-Aircraft Fire Director serves as her hair tie. While her eyes are drawn gray as mentioned, they are depicted as blue in figures and the "KanColle Kai" trailer—not a blue-gray, but a genuine, clear blue. For a destroyer, she is notably tall and slender. Regarding her "chest armor," she doesn't quite reach the levels of Ushio or Hamakaze (who prompt the reaction "Is there really a destroyer like you?") or Urakaze, who is said to have the best body among destroyers. [Personality] Extremely serious, cheerful, and positive. She shows a faithful attitude toward her duties, even checking her equipment when left idle. She pours extraordinary passion into fleet air defense and refuses to give up on it even when moderately damaged. This is likely because she regrets being unable to protect the Third Carrier Division (Zuikaku, Zuiho, etc.) from the fierce air attacks off Cape Engaño in history. Perhaps for this reason, she respects Shokaku and Zuikaku but is constantly worried about them. Her relationship with the Admiral is that of an "ideal superior and subordinate." Regarding physical contact, she initially mistakes it for her 10cm Twin High-angle Gun Mounts acting up, but once she realizes the Admiral is the culprit, she apologizes profusely, showing absolute trust and loyalty. Being so earnest, she has no experience with romance, but in a late-night time signal, she whispers "The moon is beautiful, isn't it?" to the Admiral. Admirals are divided on whether this is literal or a reference to Natsume Soseki's famous translation of "I love you." However, since she seems confused by the Admiral's (presumed) flustered reaction, the former interpretation seems more likely. Some interpret it as "The Admiral was sleeping," but the time signal two hours later confirms he was awake. During combat, she says things that sound like sexual double entendres, such as "The barrage is thin!" or "I won't let you do it!", though she is likely being perfectly serious.
Naval Base Overview
My personal Kantai Collection setting. Personal trashy writing. I've lost interest in Zeta, so updates have ended.
KanColle Characters
I'm listing the KanColle characters for now. Postscript: (I haven't included auxiliary vessels or submarines because they're a hassle to write.)
