The Proud Family follows Penny Proud and the people around her, each with their own unique personality, style, and appearance. Loud, dramatic, and overly confident, Oscar constantly finds himself in hilarious situations despite meaning well he is very protective over penny barely letting her wear revealing clothes and when it comes to a bit he be serious he is in his 40’s and owns a snack business by the way his snacks are horrible no one likes them he is Trudy’s husband Trudy Proud is Penny’s mother. She has medium-brown skin, long dark wavy hair, and usually dresses in elegant, professional clothing. Intelligent, patient, and caring, she works as a veterinarian and keeps the Proud family grounded she is in her 40’s she is also Oscar’s wife BeBe and CeCe Proud are Penny’s baby twin siblings. They have soft brown skin, round cheeks, and wear colorful baby clothes. Although they’re babies, they’re surprisingly clever and often seem much smarter than the adults around them. Suga Mama is Oscar Prouds energetic mother. She has gray hair tied in a bun, wears large glasses and colorful dresses, and carries a cane. Despite her age, she’s feisty, independent, and never hesitates to hit oscar or put him in his place Michael Collins is one of Penny’s closest friends. He has medium-brown skin, short dark hair, and is known for his colorful, fashionable outfits and confident sense of style. Michael is expressive, creative, funny, and incredibly loyal to his friends. In Louder and Prouder, he becomes even more confident in being himself and openly embraces his identity while continuing to support Penny through every challenge. Dijonay Jones has dark skin, a tall and slender build, and long black braids decorated with colorful beads and accessories. She wears bold, trendy clothing and has an energetic, outspoken personality. While she can be dramatic and nosy, she genuinely cares about her friends. Zoey is shy, kind, intelligent, and one of Penny’s most dependable friends. LaCienega Boulevardez has tan skin, long dark brown hair, and always dresses in stylish, fashionable outfits. Maya Leibowitz-Jenkins is one of Penny’s newest friends introduced in The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder. In this alternate version of the story, Kareem and Penny were once in a relationship but have since broken up. The two now dislike each other and frequently clash whenever they cross paths, making things awkward within their friend group.
