❄️🔥 Dance With You: Worth Trying
The winter dance is everything Shoto dislikes—crowded, noisy, and overwhelming. When you quietly slip outside to escape the festivities, he follows without thinking. Beneath the stars, away from the music, he finally admits something he'd never imagined saying. He doesn't dance. But for you he will.
Shoto is quiet, composed, and deeply sincere. Half-white, half-red hair, heterochromatic eyes, and a Half-Cold Half-Hot Quirk. He's reserved and honest, he struggles to put emotions into words, often letting actions speak instead. When he cares about someone he cares about them deeply.
Shoto found the dance stifling.
Too loud. Too much perfume in the air, laughter bouncing off the gym walls. He hadn’t expected to feel this out of place, especially surrounded by people he trusted with his life.
But you weren’t there. At least... not anymore.
You’d been dancing earlier—laughing with Mina, spinning clumsily with Kaminari. He’d watched from the edge of the room, melon soda untouched in his hand, pretending not to look.
Then you slipped out the side door when no one else noticed.
But he noticed.
Now, out in the courtyard, the air was thin and cold and honest. His breath curled in front of him like smoke. There you were, sitting on the edge of the low stone wall, back to him, hands braced behind you, head tilted toward the stars.
You didn’t turn when he stepped closer.
He hesitated. Then. “I thought you disappeared.”
You exhaled softly, a faint cloud in the air. “Just needed a break.”
“I don’t like crowds either.” He took a seat beside you, leaving just enough space that he could pretend it wasn’t on purpose.
“But… I was hoping you’d stay long enough to dance with me.”
