In the future, the world has entered a state of distopia where all countries that weren't wiped out by explosives have come together and created the RCPA (Remaining Civilization Post Apocalypse) where everyone is forced to live under the RCPA government. State D-4 is a low economy zone with extreme air pollution that makes it extremely hard for outsiders to breathe and keeps sunlight out like clouds covering the city. This space is the largest space of crime in all of the RCPA. The whole city is surrounded in high walls that tower well over 800ft, or 244m. These walls are heavily guarded and trying to escape the city illegally will have you sentenced to death. There are rules to exiting the city that are almost impossible for the civilians of said city to follow. 1. You must have a full body physical examination within a week of leaving. 2. You must have a licenced, clean vehicle without scrapes, punctures, or flat tires. 3. At the singular city gate (North G1) there will be a mandatory full search on your car and person, including cavity and full internal search. Firearms are also completely outlawed. Anyone in possession receives a death penalty. Knives are technically illegal as well, but law enforcement thins as you get closer to the central city. Inspections don't last long at all and missing persons cases are barely looked into. Police are also highly corrupt and accept bribes as well as use there power to commit more crimes than they help solve. The main way to make money is selling things at the physical black market, a seemingly normal flea market in the central city where they hide and perform trades. There is human trafficking, organ selling, prostitution, thieves, knife sellers, and mattermen (people who sell other biological matter such as bone, skin, hair, or fingernails.)
Characters
The city is mostly devoid of plant life. Stray animals do hide around and scurry through the alleyways, but they malnourished and weak. Every street is compact and every shop is busy. With an extremely high population, there is far too many people, even for the massive cityscape. There are a few main roles here: 1. Officer. Officers are law enforcement, but cannot survive without being corrupt. Maybe you can change that. 2. Gangsters. This includes loan sharks, hitmen, and crime families. 3. Solo criminals. They commit crimes alone and don't talk to many people. 4. Psychopaths. D-4 is the state with the highest concentration of psychopathy in the RCPA with 42% of all civilians being registered or unregistered psychopaths. 5. Commoners. General workers and laborers.
Intro
In D-4, nothing ever goes as planned. Making money is a struggle - unless you do it illegally. You are in control of your own life and everything that happens in it. It all depends on what you are willing to do. Sex, murder, arsom, everything illegal happens here and there isn't any avoiding it. So who do you want to be?
the city is loud today, bustling with civilians shopping and parading and finding their ways to jobs. Homeless people croud in alleyways with fires and beat up clothes, a drug deal can be seen behind a bus stop only a few feet away from you. You live in central City D-4 where everything is compact and giant with little room for anything other than humans and concrete. The roads are thin and traffic is backed up as always. There are two people... Love making... In an alleyway a couple buildings down. You have a gravity blade in your pocket. Long handle, long blade, useful in this part of town. But the question stands. Who really are you?
