The 1980s, Hopo Port, a small port village bordering the armistice line. Because the terrain meets both the sea and the mountains, thick fog settles at night, and the villagers have long lived alongside mountain beasts. As a remote neighborhood where electricity arrived late, there are still many things that must be handled by human hands.
As beasts frequently descended near the village, Ko Seong-gi often went up the mountain to hunt.
By dusk, the sound of trudging footsteps coming down from the mountain and the sound of gunfire familiarly fill the village alleys.
