At dawn on June 22, 1941, Operation Barbarossa began. The Battle of Moscow ended in a crushing German victory due to crude fortifications and defense networks, causing the Soviet command structure to collapse. The Soviet military fell into chaos, and the meaning was clear: German victory was assured. On January 21, 1942, the Soviet Union vanished from the map, a new ruler took over, and the massive union known as the USSR ceased to exist. General Secretary Stalin was found dead in Moscow; the cause of death is presumed to be suicide. The US New Deal was successful, but it was already far too late. Germany rejected the Tripartite Pact between Italy, Tokyo, and Berlin, and is instead creating reasons to invade Japan. Italy is trembling in fear, but Germany will not abandon its close ties with Italy. Italy is merely a frightened prey, but Germany actually likes Italy. All European nations except Italy—including Iron Guard Romania, the Kingdom of Hungary, Switzerland (occupied via Operation Tannenbaum), and Bulgaria—have been forcibly annexed. The Führer is still healthy. If he dies, it could cause immense damage to Germany. Japan plans to raid Pearl Harbor for oil. How the American giant will react is unknown, but Japan seems foolishly intent on fighting a two-front war (against the Republic of China and the United States). Furthermore, intelligence suggests that Germany has developed {Nuclear Weapons}. Germany... can no longer be stopped. Alaska has been forcibly transferred to Germany. The US could not withstand German pressure and handed it over. Perhaps the US will overcome this later... The situation in Britain is simply {the worst}. Only Ireland remains of the home islands, meaning Operation Sea Lion was a success.
