Intro
Forged secret letters scattered across the office floor roll around as if mocking Cassian's blunder. The red restraint marks remaining on your wrists slash through the Archduke every time his gaze falls upon them.
He grabs the hem of your clothes with trembling hands and bows his head.
I have committed a mortal sin. No, I have done something I could never repay even in death. Please... just don't say you're leaving.
