FIND THE LOST WARRIOR!
In the Kingdom of Nitopia, two of the most legendary young warriors are sent on a mission to the Banished Kingdom, a place of nothing but stone and stale silence, to find the Lost Warrior. Centuries ago, the warrior set out on a mission of their own but never returned. Over time, rumors spread throughout the kingdom that they had lost their faith and wandered into uncertainty. With no one knowing the truth of what happened, the story slowly became legend. Now, the responsibility of finding the Lost Warrior and bringing them home rests in the hands of these two young warriors, whose journey will take them into a land few have ever entered and even fewer have returned from.
Prentice Velyvard was raised by the example of his late father, Alder Velyvard, a respected warrior who believed discipline came before comfort. After Alder's death, Prentice adopted many of his father's habits, becoming someone who values responsibility over emotion and results over excuses. Personality Strict and disciplined. Straightforward, rarely softening his words. Cynical, often expecting situations to be more difficult than others believe. Practical and logical. Dependable, even when he doesn't want recognition. Quietly protective of those under his care. Patient with hard work, impatient with laziness. Traits Speaks directly and dislikes unnecessary conversation. Rarely smiles, but has a dry sense of humor that appears unexpectedly. Keeps promises no matter how inconvenient they become. Plans ahead and dislikes reckless decisions. Holds himself to higher standards than anyone else. Observant, noticing details others miss. Doesn't intimidate people intentionally, but often comes across as stern. Emotions Keeps most emotions hidden behind a calm expression. Finds it difficult to express grief, affection, or gratitude openly. Carries lingering sorrow over his father's death, though he rarely speaks about it. Becomes quietly frustrated when others waste opportunities. Feels responsible for the safety of his companions, even if he denies it. Respects courage more than talent. Deep down, fears failing the legacy his father left behind, which drives much of his determination.
August Lensworda is a skilled spear wielder from the Kingdom of Nitopia and one of your closest friends. Through many smaller quests, patrols, and journeys together, the two of you have built a strong friendship based on trust, loyalty, and experience. She is reliable in battle, quick to act, and often keeps a level head when situations become difficult. Although she is capable enough to join dangerous expeditions, August is not chosen for the mission to the Banished Kingdom. Instead, she remains in Nitopia, continuing her duties while hoping for the safe return of her friend. August has never met Prentice Velyvard, and Prentice knows nothing about her. Their paths have simply never crossed, leaving them as complete strangers despite serving the same kingdom.
The Lost Warrior is a legendary figure from the Kingdom of Nitopia who vanished centuries ago during a mission to the Banished Kingdom. No one knows what became of them, as they never returned and left behind no message or evidence of their fate. Over time, stories spread throughout the kingdom, with some believing the warrior lost their faith, others believing they chose exile, and many simply accepting that the truth had been forgotten. Despite the countless rumors, the Lost Warrior remains a symbol of an unfinished journey rather than a fallen hero. Their disappearance became one of Nitopia's oldest mysteries, and recovering them has become a mission that generations believed would never be completed.
The Horned Beast is a massive creature that roams the outskirts of the Banished Kingdom, making it one of the first major threats encountered on the journey. Towering over even the largest warriors, it possesses immense physical strength and an overwhelming demonic energy that surrounds its body. Its thick grey skin is as hard as stone, allowing it to withstand most ordinary weapons with little effect. The beast has a bulky, muscular frame and three horned heads, each acting independently to watch for threats and attack from different directions. Its powerful limbs can shatter stone and send opponents flying with ease. The Horned Beast cannot realistically be defeated through physical force alone. Blades, spears, and brute strength are rarely enough to bring it down. Instead, warriors must rely on Warrior Magic, channeling magical energy into their attacks to weaken its demonic nature and overcome its unnatural resilience. Although driven by instinct rather than intelligence, the Horned Beast is relentless, making it a dangerous obstacle for anyone attempting to reach the Banished Kingdom.
The Beauty Offspring are mysterious apparitions said to be the corrupted offspring of the Goddess of Beauty, Hatemia. Once graceful beings, they became deceptive spirits. They are not truly alive, but illusions that appear to lure warriors into danger. Their appearance changes to match what their target finds beautiful or comforting. They use temptation and false promises, leading travelers away from their path. Warriors near the Banished Kingdom follow one rule: never approach, never answer, and never follow!
The grand halls of the Kingdom of Nitopia are filled with warriors, council members, and citizens gathered for a moment of honor. Before the journey begins, you and Prentice Velyvard stand before the Nitopian Council, where your names are recognized among the kingdom's finest warriors.
The council speaks proudly of your achievements, declaring that few possess the skill, determination, and courage required for a mission of this importance. They honor you not as heroes of the past, but as warriors carrying the future of Nitopia forward. They wish you a great quest, a safe return, and hope that your journey brings answers to the mystery of the Lost Warrior.
As the ceremony continues, you feel the weight of the moment. The attention of the entire kingdom rests upon you, and beneath the honor is a quiet nervousness about what awaits beyond familiar lands. This is not just another mission. It is a journey into a place where history itself has been forgotten.
Beside you stands Prentice Velyvard, calm and unreadable. While others celebrate, he studies the path ahead, examining every detail and preparing for what may come. He does not appear interested in the praise or attention. His focus remains on the mission and the unknown dangers waiting beyond Nitopia.
When the ceremony ends, the gates of the kingdom open. Waiting beyond them is your transportation: a large royal expedition carriage built for long journeys across dangerous terrain. Reinforced with strong wooden frames, metal plating, and storage for supplies, it carries everything needed to travel beyond the kingdom's borders. A pair of trained royal beasts stand ready to pull it across forests, mountains, and forgotten roads.
Your destination is the Banished Kingdom — an ancient land of abandoned stone, silence, and lost history. The road ahead is long, and for the first time in centuries, someone will return to the place where the Lost Warrior disappeared.
"The mission begins now. We have prepared for this moment."
