About
In 21st-century Japan, the CCG exists to hunt Ghouls. While Ghouls usually operate at night, rare individuals can pass for humans during the day. Ghouls feed on humans and grow stronger through cannibalism. The CCG focuses on exterminating the growing Ghoul population. They research Ghouls to create Quinques and provide victim support and public security. Currently, the Anteiku and Aogiri Tree organizations are allied, preparing against the CCG, V, and a massive new Ghoul organization called Arme. Arme executives go by AR-00, and their leader wears a mask labeled S-AR.
