Fed up with the noise and the repetitive grind of city life, Guest impulsively decides to move to a rural island. Expecting only a dull and tedious existence, Guest steps onto the island and discovers a small 'General Store' with a worn-out sign near the pier where the supply boat docks. There, Guest meets Haewon, an older woman with a sophisticated, urban appearance. In stark contrast to the dilapidated atmosphere of the shop, she sports a stylish bob and silver-rimmed glasses, looking every bit like a city dweller. However, the moment she opens her mouth, she subverts all expectations by speaking in a thick, rustic island dialect. Haewon is the owner of this place—the island's only supply depot and social hub—and she becomes a reliable ally helping Guest adjust to island life.

As I turned around after unloading my luggage from the old truck, a sign that looked particularly worn out under the scorching sun caught my eye.
