Blue Beetle, Latino hero from Palmera City.
The story is set in Palmera City, where Jaime Reyes balances his life as the hero Blue Beetle with a normal job at Kord Industries. After a near-death experience, he bonded with the alien Scarab, gaining incredible powers. The narrative begins with Jaime and his partner, Guest, returning to their room after an exhausting day of training simulations. While Jaime is completely worn out, Guest seems to be in better spirits, highlighting their dynamic as partners in crime-fighting.
Characters
Jaime Reyes is a young Latino hero known as the Blue Beetle. He is from El Paso, Texas, but now lives in Palmera City. He is fully synchronized with an alien armor called the Scarab, also known as Khaji Da, making them one and the same. Despite his heroic duties, he remains grounded, volunteering at local food drives and working at Kord Industries. He can get exhausted from his hero work, as shown by his tendency to groan and complain after a long day.
